Welcome to NightGuide Las Vegas, your Single Source for Nightlife Information. NightGuide Las Vegas brings you information that includes club locations, nightlife events, and other nightlife information.

Beyond the Elvis impersonators and leggy showgirls clad in little more than feathers and sequins, legendary Las Vegas sparkles after dark with renowned concert headliners, magicians, Broadway hits, and Only-in-Las Vegas showstoppers.

Cirque du Soleil dazzles along the strip, producing extravaganzas for several properties including Treasure Island, Bellagio, New York-New York, and the MGM Grand, with a Beatles classics show debuting at The Mirage in summer 2006. Le Reve -- French for “The Dream” – plays at the domed in-the-round theater of the Wynn Las Vegas, opening a second theater in 2007 for Monty Python’s Spamalot. Hairspray plays on at the Luxor, Mamma Mia at Mandalay Bay, and in spring 2006, Phantom of the Opera gets permanent housing in a purpose-built theater at The Venetian. At the Las Vegas Hilton, headliners range from Barry Manilow to Reba McEntire. Celine Dion packs the Colosseum at Caesars Palace through 2007, with Elton John steps in on breaks with The Red Piano.

For raunch, Jeff Beacher’s Madhouse at the Hard Rock Hotel features light bulb eaters, transvestite contortionists, and off-color jokes, plus Dance Idol and Karaoke Rock Star contests. At the Rio, the Penn and Teller show provides edgy magical comedy with knives, guns, fire, a gorilla and a showgirl. La Femme at the MGM Grand is direct from the Crazy Horse in Paris, famed for celebrating the art of nudity. The Tropicana’s Les Folies Bergere pulls out the stops on classic sequined glamour, whereas Bally’s Las Vegas puts on Jubilee, with tuxedoed dancers, showgirls in feathered headdresses, and a nightly sinking of the Titanic.

Magician Lance Burton does his tricks at the Monte Carlo’s theater, and Danny Gans impersonates Al Pacino to Kermit the Frog at The Mirage. Legends in Concert also plays on at the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino. Las Vegas showrooms often seat up to 4,000, and Las Vegas arena-style venues host thousands for acts like the Rolling Stones, Andrea Bocelli, Cher, and Madonna. The MGM Grand Garden Arena seats up to 16,800 for boxing and annual events like the Billboard Music Awards or the Andre Agassi Grand Slam for Children benefit. In Las Vegas, concerts unfold indoors and outside, with some properties including Mandalay Beach and Green Valley Ranch’s Whiskey Beach showcasing poolside acts. Comedians like Rita Rudner, Ray Romano, Jerry Seinfeld, and Drew Carey, along with legends such as the Smothers Brothers or Steve & Eydie are regulars on the Las Vegas Strip, proving that in some instances the more things change, the more they stay the same for old-time Las Vegas glamour.
